A set of three x 2 hour workshops that will take you from beginner to a confident sewist.
7 - 9pm Thursday 10th, 17th & 24th September
Suitable for complete beginners, these classes are held in a friendly and supportive environment. They offer 4 people max, the opportunity to learn and consolidate the basics of using a sewing machine.
All equipment and materials provided.
During the first session you will learn how to thread up the machine, then sew in a straight line and turn corners, then use these skills to make something to take home with you that day.
The second and third sessions provide you with the opportunity to choose your own project from a curated list. Options include;
tote bag
zipped pouch
laptop bag
eye mask
cushion cover
headscarf
bucket hat
Some projects will take both sessions, whilst others can be completed in one and so you can choose multiple projects.
All projects use remnant, repurposed, deadstock or vintage fabrics and are designed to minimise waste fabrics.
